PPC is recommended for new websites. SEO is the best long term investment, as it takes 3-6 months to get the desired result. In case of PPC, the result is immediate and there are visitors on website and helps to reap rewards in terms of significant growth in sales within weeks.
However, ideally it is combination of SEO and PPC which will be more suitable for any business website due to its pros and cons, which complement each other, magnificently.
Another plus feature of PPC is that, it yields immediate results. If you are having website with products which have seasonal demand then it would be more helpful to use PPC campaign then SEO. It would be helpful to sell the product till season last and here again the PPC will be in demand. The keyword you select would be helpful to get the required results with a payment.
